Religious School Updates
Here's where you can keep up with the year's
Religious School happenings!
October 2024
Our Religious School students put together gift packages for local First Responders to honor them on First Responders Day, Oct 28th. Rabbi Karen delivered them to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, Fire Station 25, and Fire Station 21. They loved receiving them and really enjoyed the student-made cards and decorated bags! Even the K-9 officers got treats!

Hello Religious School Families,
Just a quick message to let you know what we have been doing since TBS Religious School classes began for this year.
Our first unit of study is focused on the Jewish Value of “Teshuvah” (return, repentance). Understanding that all people miss the mark in some way, our students are learning that it is our responsibility to learn from our mistakes and that practicing teshuvah is a way to move on from our mistakes.
Each class day begins with a brief morning tefillah (prayer) session and an introduction to the specific area of focus for the day. Our values-based learning includes group and individual activities, and integrates role play, art, stories and music. Each piece is planned to directly relate to our theme of study.
Included with this unit are common customs and prayers surrounding the Hebrew month of Elul, the holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and why we do them.
I love the opportunity for individualized Hebrew study. These lessons are held privately with each student and/or family unit. Please contact me directly to set your Hebrew lesson schedule.
